Psalms 46:10

This scripture is a daily lesson in my life.  I always have to remember that I can't do things in MY time, but in His time.  I learned that recently.  I don't know why I worry so much. I am a child of God and He continuously reminds me that He has my back and that I don't have to fight my own battles, much less worry.  He says it in the scriptures, "Be still and KNOW that I am God.."  In other words, "Don't you know who I am? I got this so stop worrying and trust Me."  If a friend told me that, I would trust them and wouldn't think twice about the situation.  If I call God my friend, then why wouldn't I trust him?  It would be a contradiction of who I say He is in my life.  Besides, He said He would never leave me nor forsake me.  And that is a promise!
