Thrift Shop

ahh man, it's sunday again. no doubt i love sundays, but it's the thought and preparation of monday that gets me a little down. this weekend was pretty great and one of the highlights of it was thrift shopping with my aunt. there area couple of thrift shops in my hometown, but i only go to one, so i can't really comment on the other ones. but the one that i do go to is pretty neat. it's located in a huge old, in what looks like could have been abandoned, building. agghh! so. much. STUFF. a lot of the neat things they have in this shop are really old-- tools, plates, music, desks, chairs, toys, book ends, coke bottles, ya know, pretty typical stuff you would find in a thrift shop. they even had a cabinet full of old empty poison bottles (the first photo), which was my favourite. i know, seems a little morbid, but they were the most intriguing items there. i also saw a lot of old photos. i felt a little sad for the people in the pictures and their families who might want to know about these people in front of the camera. the weird thing was that these photos weren't torn or worn out. they were in tact and looked brand new. very strange. unfortunately, i didn't find anything worth buying, but it wasn't a wasted trip. maybe next time. :)
how was your weekend?
